The kitchen takes up a large area of the house. The olden day kitchen utensils are hung on the wooden wall to make it look organised as well as to save space.

Swiftlet House
The swiftlet house stranded in the vicinity of the paddy field awaits the arrival of Swiftlets to build their bird nests using their saliva in the specially customized building. The bird nest produced is a delicacy in the Chinese culture. The lower part is a storage for farmers' equipment and the upper part is to collect bird's nest.

Gazebo
An abandoned fishing boat that was developed into a gazebo act as a resting place for tourists. It is a creative design to reuse an abandoned fishing boat. The boat represents one of Sekinchan's major economy which is fishing.

Guest House
This is a traditional rumah melayu designed guest house. It is a homestay mainly for tourists to spend their night here. It is distance from ground to ensure the temperature is slightly lower inside the house. Therefore, it is still cooling in the afternoon.

This is a traditional wooden house interior design. Most of the furniture are aged and made out from wood and bamboo. The antique electronics shows the simplicity of village life.

Rumah Melayu
A traditional wooden rumah melayu that has some distance from the ground to prevent flood. The trees act as shade to prevent the house from overheating. This portrays the simplicity and difficulties of the Malay village life.

Chinese Temple
Pictured is a picturesque traditional chinese temple with colorful sculpture. The tall tower acts as a view point in Sekinchan that overlooks the panoramic view of the paddy field. This is a picture worthy spot as told by a local to us.

Traditional Chinese House
The house is built in a simple traditional chinese style as it has a plaque of surname on top of the entrance. Wooden walls and zinc roofing are used as it is cheaper compared to other materials back then.
